14歳・15歳の子のプロフを大人から保護し、見知らぬ大人からの接触を防ぐ。16歳・17歳についてもプロフのデフォルト設定をプライベートに。無償で保護者に監視ツールを提供、法執行機関に24時間ホットラインを提供、ネット安全タスクフォースを設置、など。詳細のappendixをNews Corp.のWebサイトから入手できないんだけど、Safety Online 4でも参考にできそう。プロフ運営会社とか難色を示しそうな内容だが。

New York, January 14, 2008 - In a joint effort to increase the safety of teens online, MySpace and Attorneys General in the Multi-State Working Group on Social Networking representing 49 states and the District of Columbia today unveiled a Joint Statement on Key Principles of Social Networking Sites Safety (attached) designed for industry-wide adoption. This common set of Principles relates to online safety tools, technology, education and law enforcement cooperation.
